The Nigerian Institution of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES) is thrilled to announce its ₦1,000,000 Scholarship Program for aspiring engineers and scientists. We are dedicated to nurturing talent and promoting inclusivity in engineering and science fields globally.
Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is a one-time award for the academic year 2024/2025. Successful applicants will be expected to participate in NIPES events and mentorship programs. Additionally, non-members selected for the scholarship will receive a complimentary one-year NIPES student membership.

Benefits of the NIPES Engineering and Science Scholarship

Requirements for the NIPES Engineering and Science Scholarship
- To qualify for the NIPES Engineering and Science Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited higher institution.
- Field of Study: Must be studying science or engineering-related courses.
- Level: Open to students in 100-level and above.
NIPES Online Course: Applicants must complete at least one free NIPES online course and explain the skills learned in their personal statement.
Priority Consideration
NIPES student members will be given priority in the selection process. Non-members are encouraged to join NIPES to enhance their chances of being selected for the scholarship.
